I do a lot of hedgecutting and verge mowing and found the Orbitor aerials snag on the tree branches and bend, changed them for Trucker 80 with no problems at all. Looked at different types but none really any good for anything liable to get caught on tree branches.

I got midland 747's on my rigs, seem fine although when the mic is keyed it makes the climate control fan speed up!

Yep on my 6455 it has the new gearbox where you get 40k at 1900 revs, any faster than 25.6mph and the autodrive knocks it from F into D, all I did was put a switch in cab which is connected in line with the speed sensor on the back axle, when the switch is "on" it breaks the signal line of the cable...

I always thought they amplify a lot of noise too as well as signal!

Can the massey handle it?? hehe only kidding i've got my 6455 dyna 6 sorted now, nice new dash, old firmware on it though as its handy to be able to get 50k out of it rather than the measly 40k it came with lol!!

Personally i am loyal to tracors that have the word FORD on the bonnet. Was in my local NH dealers in the summer for mower parts and they quoted a customer who had a blue tractor 3 weeks for repairs :o Quickest my Massey dealer has been is 2 hours, slowest is 2 days :wink: I'm still getting annoyed...

My dyna6 6455 needed new dash, on friday dealer put one in, now ive lost autodrive, its so much harder on the road talking on radio and changing gear as well! Should get it sussed tomorrow hopefully with new firmware update on the dash.

Yeah it does, and also with my wipers as well, it's very annoying, I wonder if there is any sort of suppressor that could be fitted?? Had mine orignally using powerstick mount, its fine on the non cab suspension tractor, but swr was sky high on the new one with cab suspension, will post pics soon of solution.
