Re: Thunderpole t2000

To be honest I have heard of people talking over the skip on mobile set ups but you are more likely to do it on a homebase antenna.

This guide on an American website explains it pretty well... http://cbradiomagazine.com/Articles/How ... 20Skip.htm

Re: Orbitor HD Magmount Advice

10-4 Good Buddy! :D

The 7" mag should be fine with a 1.5m Orbitor HD (as long as you stick to the speed limits :) )

Re: Thunderpole t2000

It will be on the same frequency, and believe it or not you will be able to talk to the USA, but only when the conditions are right which only happens once in a while.

Re: Firestick radio quick disconnect opinions

Hi,

There is just a plate that is secured in the vehicle and another that attaches to the radio, and they clip together and unclip using the two catches on the sides.

They are fine for holding small to medium sized radios.

Re: hello from peterborough

Welcome to the forum :)

Channel 19 would normally be your best bet, as this is generally the calling channel most places.

We have a user map that may be of help... http://www.thunderpole.co.uk/cb-radio-user-map.html

Re: Thunderpole t2000

1)Turn OFF the radio. 2)Whilst pressing the F and MEM buttons together, turn on the power using the ON/OFF/VOLUME Control. 3)Use the Channel Selector or UP and Down buttons to select the EU band. 4)Turn the radio off and then on again, now the display will show the EU band, and you should be able to...
