Hi. I have just took over a renault premium. It has a built in ariel and I presume a power point for my cb. Can anyone shed any light on where about the ariel jack and power point is. Thanks

if it is anything like the mercedes own cb stuff you may want to bypass and use your own gear as they are pretty poor

some Renaults cb connection look as though they are for a telephone and the power needs a meter to find it as they like using 1 color of wire throughout the system

just done a renuault 510 and the cb antenna was swr perfect on 25 megs and totaly useless between 26.965 and 27.99125 had to have a conversion made to fit an antenna which will do the job

In my DAF the 12v takeoff is next to the Digie Tachograph ( see Picy ) , needs a female match for the CB wire .
