General Mobile CB antenna advice and troubleshooting

Hi
my landlord wont let me put up an outside antennna so was wondering which mobile twig to use indoors ( mag mount on 7ft metal sheet).I am fairly high up in flats so getting signal out should be no problem..Any help/advice will be much appreciated

yes cb started life in Brittan with a sirio dv stuck on a magmount fixed on a biscuit tin and worked well so good luck

Yea Stampman i was thinking of a dv27/biscuit tin combination ..had this set up when i was young living at home with parents (on AM) until i got an18ft diapole..would like a sirio 4000
for mobile too.

yeah of landlords & councils don't seem to like seeing big antennas on there properties what they let out but there's always a way around it 😉

I think anything top loaded will work great indoors I would like to suggest trying the thunderpole thunderstick I bash

with a real good magmount

& with it having a tuning tip at the top like the old dv 27s & firestiks I don't think you'll have much problems lol
