Hi
My first post so forgive any gaffs. We have a 30+ year old Hymer motorhome to which I'm planning to add CB. A new area, I've done some research and pretty much decided on the Cobra 29 LX EU but the antenna seems problematic. The van is alloy skinned as is the roof the only GRP being in the front windscreen shell but where to mount? There are enough holes in the roof already [3x skylights, roof rails sat dish etc] so reluctant to add more plus concerned re- the height. We do have roof rails combined with an aluminium ladder at the rear and I considered this if going for a long aerial but is that effective if only part of the aerial is clear of the roof? Any ideas on best antenna to choose plus location appreciated.

sirio omega on a flat bar mirror mount on the roof bar will do the trick have fitted them to a couple of vans over the years just takes time but works very well
