hi folks midland 48 multi plus when straight through aerial power meter on set reads between 1.5 and 2.5 if i run it through swr meter it says 3.5 to 4 anyone got any ideas swr is between 1.5 and 2.

it will alter because you are adding a further resistance into the antenna line and it would seem the meter in the set may be set a bit low

Thanks for the reply stampman the set isn't 12 months old so may speak to thunderpole about it

hey tyre fitter did you sort out the power meter issue ...this is uncanny ive just bought the same radio today and its showing the same ..cheers mark
