Instructions for fitting a snail mount onto RG58 cable;

1) Strip back the coax to leave approx 15mm of centre braid showing, and 25mm of centre insulation;

2) Push the centre braid through the hole in the bottom plastic part of the mount and bend flat;

3) Curl the coax inside the snail and leave a small amount of the screen over the edge;

6) Put the snail through the mount, making sure the screen is trapped against the metal of the mount;

7) Check from the top that the screen hasn't got any loose strands touching the centre bolt;

8) Put the top platic part on, and tighten with a spanner, and you're done!
