I was planning to donate my pair of Xtreme Slimtalk SL-01P PMR446es (now sold as the Intel SL-02) radios to the kids next door, but it seems the batteries have karked it.
I recall they did this once before where the charge was too low for them to register for recharging, but that there was a fix that required connecting a USB cable to the terminals for a few seconds...

Thing is, I can't recall which way round the wires go and the battery doesn't indicate polarity. Does anyone recall?

I know Xtreme emailed out a Technical Bulletin, citing this as a common fault and detailing the fix, but that was long ago...
