Hello everyone

I have just set up my CB radio however I am getting some interference which I don't think is normal. I have heard people talking but the inference even seems to be over them. This can often times be taking up full s9 signal.

I have made a video and wondered if someone can advise if it is normal and if not, what it would likely be?

Thanks a lot!

I'm no expert but it could be interference from a nearby electrical source. How are you powering the CB ? Is it being powered by a non CB power supply unit or by a Switch Mode power supply ? Both of these power supplies can cause interference. It is best to use a Regulated Power Supply unit as sold by the sponsors of this site.

Thanks for the reply. I am using a regulated supply. It is the same used for my other ham radios which don't have this noise!
