Hi.
My old Midland 77-095UK mike seems to affect the setting of the SWR on my Super Nova twig. Can a badly wired mke do this?
I have been trying for days to get my centre loaded twig swr'd in but when I wiggle the mike the swr readings seem to go crazy. Also. the closer to my rig the swr unit the crazier the settings, they go all over the place.

Any advice appreciated.

I soo need a new updated rig! Can't wait for payday!!!

have noticed this a few years since it seems that the shielding round the audio cable does alter the swr but gor it the best we could and never seemed to have trouble with it once it was done
