I have a pair of Midland G7 Xt's and a pair of BT Freeway radios.
I would like to charge them from a 12 volt supply, in a Motorhome, I have desk top chargers that I would like to use to just drop them in each night, but I have not got a 12v supply lead for the chargers.
My question is what supply to buy?
The AC/DC supply is 9V-300ma 2.7va. if I can find a 12v adapter with this output will it work?
12 Volt charging Midland G7
our sponsers sell a variable 12 volt unit so you could ring colin or the alterative is an inverter to talke your 12 volt feed up to 240 then use the charger that came with the set a 300 watt would also run a household tv
if it anit broke dont fix it

Thanks for the reply.
I have an inverter but it uses alot of power.
I read some where that the charging bases use the amps to regulate the charge not the voltage, but I dont understand what that means.
I tried a 9v 2A PSU on my old BT freeway desk top charger and it made it smoke!!
