Is there a PMR channel equivelant to channel 19 for calling etc ?
I have a set of : Cobra MT725 PMR446 Radios and want to try and find anyother users on 446.
Am going to put one in my Jimny to keep scanning but any advice would be helpfull.

I stay on channel 8 but I never get anyone come up...

Channel 1 is the calling channel here in Hartlepool . Mostly local CB,rs using PMR 1 but also other users in the town , some times pick up the windturbine workers at Redcar . Truck drivers on 5 and 3 and motorcycle lessons on 7 .
