This set has come in for service. I cannot find any service details on the net.
The TX and RX (with CTCSS) work ok except they are on the wrong frequency.
Can anyone tell me how to dismantle this set - so I can get at the frequency adjustments (if any)

Many thanks

Hi Stampman

They should be operating on ch9 467.5875Mhz - but the one in for service is actually on
467.5375Mhz.
All other channels are offset by the same amount.

Were they different manufacturing lots for different countries?

I appreciate they are not UK.

Regards

Bob

UPDATE
Found out how to open them by finding edcarlson.com - now I have to find out if any adjustments will get it on the same freq.
50Khz does seem an awful lot, though.

Regards

UPDATE

After a lot of messing about - there are no adjustments to frequency on this set (only very slightly) certainly not 50Khz.

Another doorstop!!!!
