Hi, What are the up to date regs for 2015.I have loads of old CBs, AM, FM, a couple with 27/81 on them ,some with USB,and LSB,and is there any activity in the St Austell area,cheers, :?:

We are now allowed to use AM and SSB on UK frequencies, however this will be only on the latest equipment that has been approved for use on these modes, so any radios manufactured since June 2014.

Any older radios with 27/81 or 27/97 can be used, but only on FM UK (or EU for 27/97).

Hi, what is the most used, AM or FM or Sideband ,and is there much activity around St Austell or Swindon, is it worth getting an up to date radio, dors anyone use CB on the waterways ,cheers, :? :!: :?:

FM is still the most widely used by a long way.

I know a few people have purchased radios for use on the waterways but I couldn't say exactly how popular it is.

You could have a look at our map to see if many people have added themselves in your area...

What's interesting is that loads of people are dusting off their old Cobra 148s and thinking they're legal to use.

golden rule in england seems to be DONT CAUSE INTERFERANCE aand no one will bother you
