hi all, does anybody know if these 2 scanners are o.k. for beginners.
i like to listen to all freq's,but mostly military stuff.
A YUPITERU MVT7100,
A YAESU VR 120D.

mvt 7100 has realy good reviews among the scanner groupes

I had a Yupiteru 7200 for years, same as 7100 but narrow filters for shortwave listening. I loved it to bits but sold it and bought a AOR8200. It has got more bells and whistles on it but the Yupiteru was far easier to use for scanning and programming. Wish I still had it.

If you can get a 7100, then go for it and keep it.
