I am looking at the new Uniden Bearcat 800 for use in the car, anyone here any experience of this radio?

I am also looking for an antenna for the scanner for use in the car so a mag mounted one. Any decent mobile antennas around?

Thanks

I've used a mag mounted scanner antenna on the car with very impressive results! Yeah, give them a ring @Thunderpole for a chin-wag....they're EVER SO helpful...had a nice chat with Colin myself the other day... :)

vr 5000 if you have a year of your life to waste the buy one designed by a politican built by a tax man and software by an idiot translated by an illiterate
