looks very good only thing i would be a bit wary of is the manual as icom are not the best in the world at writeing them think they use a translator from deepest bornio i have the r3 and the manual is a waste of time so if you have a lot of patiance then by all means try one

This is one of their flagship models competing with the AOR8200 etc. Personally, I don't like Icom and have read hundreds of reviews of various Icom models. They are not with their problems so if you buy new, you'll be covered but I would be wary with anything Icom secondhand. They are usually more expensive than other makes too which is why I have always had Yaesu or Kenwood for my Amateur stuff.
