They're the same radio - just different badge/name. Can differ on power output so check/compare specs.

All you hear these days is problems with modern radios but rarely any old radios misbehaving. I just dont by this surface mount technology crap, they claim its more robust than traditional circuitry but if thats The case why do radios keep failing? While 30 year old rigs are still going strong.? SMT radios are also harder to repair. all these rigs are made in China no matter what the brand, its just all electronic junk these days. No wonder people are still chasing mark one President Lincolns after over 25 years of them being released. They claim SMT is the way forward, what a joke and a half that is.
