Hello all, can any one recommend to me what time of Ariel I should get for a 2 meter band radio? I am setting up a base station.

Thanks

hi adam

2 metre base antennaes these days tend to not to be the norm, home base antennaes in general are dual band , ect 144/ 433mhz which will cover both 2mtrs / 70cms bands as in accordance with most radio used for this type of communications. have a look on the thunderpole site and you will see they range from about £39 upwards .
depending on how big your pocket is and coverage / gain and size of antennae.
if you are thinking of getting one antennae to do all 3 popular bands including 50 mhz .. then the triband antennae is a must.. like the lafayette mv2000 .
