A short amateur radio training course will be held in Danbury, Chelmsford, Essex starting Thursday, January 10.
The course is six Thursday evenings of practical and theory, but the view from previous course attendees, is that it's not just boring theory but a whole load of fun as well.
On passing the straight-forward test at the end of the course you'll be able to apply for a free amateur radio licence and transmit on amateur bands between 136 kHz and 10.45 GHz including the global 7/10/14/18/21/24/28 MHz bands.

Can thoroughly recommend Amateur radio training course held by C.A.R.S. at Danbury ,Chelmsford. I did my license here a few or more years ago and really did enjoy it (apart from the repeater talk ) Clive.Martin and the team are a good bunch...go for it Lads
