Hi there, i jumped into my tractor this morning and tried to turn on my cb radio, the radio is a tti tcb 771, the cb wont power up at all, ive checked the connection and theres nothing broken, it was working yesterday when i tried it, does anybody know what might be wrong :(, the tractor the cb is hooked upto is a John Deere 7530, thank you!

fuse check ? you have not been welding on it or dodgy on/off switch

Thanks Stampman, ive got 3 12v sockets in the tractor and ive tried all 3 and none of them work, the cb powers up but connecting the leads to the battery and then to the cb but it wont connect up any where else

Is there 12v at the sockets , And is the radios 2amp fuse ok , Check the fuse holder as i have seen the wire pull down into its tunnell causing the fuse not to be ablt to touch its connection . check the ciggy plug incase a wire has come off .
A OHM meter will find the problem .

Had a go tonight and plugged in another electrical device into the socket and it didnt work, a 30 amp fuse has gone which powers the sockets , its nothing major thankfully
