Is the Nokia there a Mobile phone? or is it one of these fancy landline handsets, or a PTT Mobile?

It's same design on the outside as the Magnum 257.

This one is the MK1 Albrecht AE485s, Orange display rather than the new blue versions.

I have had a new version Albrecht AE485s and a new Version Magnum 257 too.

This orange display version does 25w variable SSB/FM and 6w on AM while the new blue ones do up to 30w on all modes.

It also uses more stable outputs than the new versions. While the new ones do work extremely well you have to be careful not to run them above 10w on FM as this will put strain on the ERF outputs casing them to fail and when they do they make a royal mess of the board inside and even if fixed they will never be the same again. The orange MK1 version does not have this issue so if you are getting one go for an older one and it will last years!

All in all a good radio, nice size, great RX and TX, loads of features, ideal for base or mobile use.

Cheers
