Hi All, Just joined the Community, having just bought from fleabay a Hi-Gain V, model 2705.
I Recently bought (again from fleabay) a 1990 American RV, and I am currently in the process of the lengthy restoration. I noticed that there is a base plate on the side of the RV, and an aerial wire dangling in the cab, and having heard that CB Radio is making a come-back among the Motorhome community, I decided to buy a radio. I have just sent of for a book on 'all-things-CB', hopefully to learn the lingo, and most importantly the 'etiquette' !
I have lived in 'Gods' Country (Located to the West of Devon, England) for 40 years, although for most of that time I worked overseas for long periods, and thus missed the original CB era.
Now retired, but with a Million-and-one jobs to do !

Wooww welcome dude, I love those motorhomes I'd love one.
I'd have the mother of all radio set ups in it if I did!
