Can anyone shed any light on which is the best type of power-supply to use for my mobile rig at home?
Regulated? Stabilzed? Switched?

I have a cheap switched one which i stopped using because it gives me about 7 pounds of noise.

Old thread but why not . . .

Alinco 330FX switching pwr. supply - excellent, quiet a little on the pricy side.

Cobra Power Pak CA-20 - no longer in production, ebay, etc., excellent, quiet and affordable.
