::-() ive been down this road as i live in a conservation area and my planning officer was a right bitch! and said she wasnt having it [-X so in the end i just said to her look im havin a antenna up what ever happens so why dont we try and find some common ground because even if i have got to park a car on the lawn and strap a 60 foot mast to that! (the car being mobile! ) its going up and the reason for the height is to stop any interference to anyoneand her response was :- i see well ithink i may need to discuss this with a collegue and i havent heard anything since! this was about 2 years ago and my antenna is at 62 feet!!!!!!! =D> Image

cool cam i guess some councils in different regions have different rules when others don`t want to see tall antennas high in the sky as long as they are getting council tax of us tax payers they don`t care but in the end of the day it is our hobby not there's i guess they don`t understand why we need a tall antenna high in the sky,

but saying all of that fiberglass antennas don`t need to be high in the sky or the vector 4000 as a guy only had 1 vector 3 feet above ground & still got out better than his 5/8 wave antenna what was high at the back of his house,

another guy had his sirio gain master bolted to his washing line post & it still worked as good as if it was 10 foot in the air,

or another idea would be the antenna on a 5 to 6 foot pole while the pole is bolted to the washing line post.

My antenna is about 30ft from the ground, I haven't had any complaints yet so I'm lucky lol
