hi just been giving a midland 77 099 can anyone tell me what the hi low switch does thanks

hi = 4watts

lo = 1/4 watt

thanks for that what would you use 1/4 watt for apart from speaking to your neighbour :D

exactly that, we have fork lift trucks here with pmr 446's in, and they are set to low power, in this case 100mW so that we dont cover too large an area and attract bozo's or kids and be annoyed by them.
Rig wiring tips: red to black, black to red, blue to bits.

1/4 wave is for use with home base antennas 4 watts is for mobile
