As well as Amateur gear I have a little Handheld tucked out of the way which has a Car kit and so is connected to external power and an external Aerial. There is a subtle little Amplifier in there as well :D

Hi,
I am totally new to this. Just bought a Discovery 1 300TDi Commercial with over 300k and have just took delivery of the Maxcon CM-10 and 1.5m Antenna. Not sure how to get it all fitted as don't mess with auto electrics.

But can't wait to get it all in and working.

New to CB's. Off on a trip across Morocco in April in a convoy of approximately 11 Land Rovers so got a CB so we can communicate.
I live in France and do a lot of driving across France and Belgium so hope to be able to chat with Truckers on route.
