wow i havent seen a good cobra 148 gtl-dx,

in years ..thats a nice looking radio there mate,
i used to own a superstar 360-fm,
before moveing out here to south australia,
you cant beat the old faithfulls thay just keep going and going,
nice set mate i hope you dont leave it on there when your not ...

i use a wet piece of string and a atu no tuning needed

well you would use a wet piece of string.becouse you dont get any sun over there do you !!!!
to dry it out,

i must confess now "i yes me has forgot ...is a thunderpole 5/8 wave hi gain, self s/w/r-ing,

i used to have a silver rod and also a gap 5/8wave that was ...but i cant remember if the silver rod 5/8 wave hi gain or as thay call it on here a thunderpole 5/8 wave hi gain is ????

hi there here you go this is a turner jm+2/u blue power mic,



i used to use them all the time on my cobras and superstars, there very very clear and power full,

tell you what eles goes good and sounds brill on a superstar,
is an old blue turner+2/u power mic,
man thay get up and boggie,
also if you can get one out there a d-104 silver eagle lolly pop mic, thay have some grunt as well and drive the superstar very well........

what do you think the chance is of getting on here a

hi people the hobby just keeps getting bigger,
just got hold of this it was made in 1978 and all works fine ..and to my suprise it doesent drift of freq,and it comes with standard fm as well,
the clock keeps time as well so theres not a bad thing ..now i wonder if any good person outthere has a ...
