If i am needing a new antenna, can anyone suggest one for me to get (Homebase type). I'm not interested in anything special, so long as is works and gives a decent range.

I am quite new to the Cb world, and i am looking for a basic but good Cb to start with.
I've seen a Kernow Beta 1100 Cb for sale (i have included a picture) Does anyone know what these CB's are like, also does anyone know how much it is worth?

On full power the SWR is the same on channel 1 all the way to channel 40 (in the far red)

Any other ideas?

I'm very new to CB, just recently found a old mobile CB in my dads' loft. (Jesan KT-4004.) It all setup fine and i get a SWR of around 1.5 on low power (0.4 watt). But when i switch to high power (4 watt) the SWR stays far over in the red part of the meter. I have tried my mag mount ...
