Glad you managed to fix it, remember blowing a brilliant Panasonic car stereo by messing about with its amp cable, managed to bypass the black burnt bit by soldering a wire across but it was never the same lol, still did learn a lesson that day

Another old timer
Bought a 5 star from a friend a while ago, great old rig which works very well, he also had a really annoying roger bleep installed into it, use the CB/PA to switch the bleep on or off.
