Brilliant. Almost all scanner antennas will have a frequency range you can transmit on, but it's never going to be the same as they receive ranges. I'd check the antenna spec. Otherwise, if you transmit using an antenna that's not tuned for the freq. you're transmitting on, you'll almost definitely ...

I'd also look at CB radios that have dim mount bracket options. Some Jimmy's have a twin-DIN dash, so you effectively have a spare slot.

Looks like president are releasing a new version of the Grant 2. Output power has reportedly been increased to approx 20 watts and a heat sink added to the back. Also when converted to EXPORT mode you keep the UK 40! The new one is called the President Grant II Premium. I'm not sure you keep the ab...
