We had the gearbox grind to a halt on our SL dual power, caused by 3 studs which held a bearing housing to the casting working loose and the balls rolled about damaging all but 4 gears. Over £5000 damage!! SLE has been no bother tho.

you cant beat a blue bonnet! what models are you working with. i prefer to stick with older ford based ones, currently running 7810 7740 and 8240. had ts135a on demo ...

I get interference from the compressor for my air seat and also from the rear wiper motor. turning up the squelch a degree or two seems to stop it but then it can be difficult to pick up weak transmissions.

Blue blood

I had a brief experince of driving a 6480 dyna-6 last weekend as part of a young farmers event. not the kind of tractor you can hop on and drive first time. although i imagine days spent forage harvesting or ploughing could be very enjoyable aboard it.

Hi there, im a reletivly new to the cb world. We are currently using midland units in our tractors, two 38's and a 78 plus multi all equipped with thunderpole orbitor aerials, my tractor being easily recognisable with two up top to give me the 'rubber duck' look! (oh yes im a big convoy fan)
