Plane was a V.C 10, this happened during a defuel, the Tech removed fuel from the front tank before the rear tank... :oops:

A lot of radios in ebay are advertised as being SSB, but when you read the description they say they offer USB/LSB

USB = Upper Side Band

LSB = Lower Side Band

As far as I know, pre-amp help's boost incoming signals, so an amp with pre-amp would be better for both TX and RX...

But don't quote me on that...

Sorry if this is in the wrong section, but was just wondering if someone could answer a small question please...

I have a handheld scanner, a PL259 T connector, BNC-SO239 adapter and a couple of patch lead, now could I connect all these together so that I can use my scanner and CB radio on ...

Is there much about, last time I went I never even had a nibble, but that was over 12 months ago now, not been too well, but I would really like to make a start again this year...

A friend of mine who still goes now and again hasn't been having much luck either...

I've just bought myself a TTi880 radio, will that have Mid Band and if so which setting do I put it on...
