ok fuel pump madde no difference.
a mate of mine has said that the imboliser could be doing it ?

yes i can have the cb on with out the engine running. i have installed a bandit on the poer feed. a lo pass filter on the coax and have coiled the coax a few times at the base of the aireal as sugessed by a mate but it is still there. its getting to the point where it will be taken out again wich is ...

baught a power mic from our sponcers.
problem is it seams to be wired up wrong, hold the tx button and it doesnt transmit.
let it go and it does! (the oppsite to how u would normally use one)

the radio. (goes off with the ignition but u can press the power button on the front and it comes on!

engine off or on doesnt matter. a friend of mine tryed it from the batt. said it was just the same. but i will try it my self when i can!

base coil only as the truck goes under trees and carparks. but like i said i dont want to go down the burner route (it is illagial after all and dont want to spoil every ones fun

i am running a small orbitor on a gutter mount atm but i would like to get the optimum range for this set up drilling holes is not a option :( (to nice a truck)

i have a intek m790 plus. a friend of mine told me that a twist of a screwdriver in the rig can increase the out put,
is this also possable on my rig? if so witch one do i adjust?
would like a bit more range but dont want to run a burner!

it is in a discovery td5 auto 5 door. when the engine is running or not doesnt make a difference. (wired to go on and off with ignition)

got a disco td5, intek m790 plus (continatal package from here)
loads of interference
so far i have pulled out the coax connector from the back and put the squelch to no noise :D (laymans terms)
connected the outer part of the two together nothing then inserted the pin into it and loads of noise ...
