Hi, I'm after a bit of advice on shortening the ends of a homebrew dipole. What i need to know is, and i hope i descibe this well enough for you to understand, after threading the wire through the dogbone insulators and folding back on itself and crimping, do you shorten, by cutting the wire or shortening the length by pulling more wire through the dogbone and recrimping and leaving the actual length of the wire as it was? Sorry if this sounds daft, I know what i'm on about but not sure anyone else will....
