that landrover question again

Was expecting problems last week when I fitted my first cb & aerial as I was away for the weekend and was desparate to try it out.

Get yourself a military roll bar under the tilt and mount to that, mine perfect so far (fingers, legs everything crossed)

how did you mount it to the roll bar?

mirror mount with longer bolts i guess

i was thinking more on the lines of how did you get thru the tilt?
i take it you just cut a hole?

aha all is clear dont think that would be a good idea then side mount on rear of motor with a red devil or dv 27 should work

see perseverance and lots of tea build britian. Mind i was about to say mount on the front alot of the old 24v military landies have the antennas on the front specially the desert ops vehicles so it should be ok plus keeps it out of trees
