which radio ?

Hi guys
i want a newer radio than i have (rotel RVC230) but only have about £50-60 to spend.
can anyone recomend a decent radio for that sort of budget?
and also what is the rotel worth? want to put it on ebay but not sure what to ask?

stick with the rotel a lot better set for uk fm than anything out there at the moment

Don't shout at me guys..but just bought the intek 790 plus.
seems a nice rig..hope i haven't dropped one, if you excuse the pun !!!! [-o<
but don't understand really the other bands on it...plus AM what can i pick up on all these bands?

theres diffrent bands for other countrys am is just a lower freq on the band your on its illegal tho to use

AM is just a differant type of mode output. Probably not anyone using AM on 11m over there being illegal. Couple of people still use AM here in OZZ but the majority of people here are on LSB.

the guy in the cb shop told me that sometimes on AM you can pick up americans...what channels do i need to put it on for this.. UK,EU,CE. ETC...

yanks run on am mid band if you have a multi band then italy frequancys will get them
