Realistic trc 2005 problems

Hi all I have a realistic trc 2005 and ive been trying to get it working for days now . The unit powers up and you can here static on all 40 channels ive tried transmitting on channel 19 and nothing ive had a good look at my mag mount and the coaxl cable had come off so ive resoldered it back on and still nothing. Ivecontinuity tested the coaxil cable inner and outer cable and it seems fine and connections seem fine also the tx powers up ok to im at a loss any ideas thanks all

FIRST swr meter and see what the swr is is the cb am or uk fm?

Hi thanks for the reply it is a uk fm. Im going to a mates tommrow and he has a swr meter so he is going to do it for me I hop thanks my twig also has two marks on a black at the bottom and a blue abit further up behind the grub skrew wher it ajusts if that means anything ?

these little cb radios are on the cept band or mids/midband/eu40 and therefore recomend to get your friend try rig on the same band as the cept band is little used in the uk

think the whip needs to be in the coil up to the blue mark for uk frequency
