I get interference from the compressor for my air seat and also from the rear wiper motor. turning up the squelch a degree or two seems to stop it but then it can be difficult to pick up weak transmissions.

affried your only solution is to supress the motors

It is the only way. A fellow breaker in our neck of the wood spent a week supressing everything on the John Deere 7710 he drove and tin-foiled all the inside of the cab roof. He did have the best setup for miles around tho.

you cant beat a blue bonnet! what models are you working with. i prefer to stick with older ford based ones, currently running 7810 7740 and 8240. had ts135a on demo but wasn't heavy enough at front to hoist combi drill on hillside with full hopper.

Right Once again! You cant beat a blue bonnet espically if its a 40series!!

Were running two 7840's,6640,8340 and a TM125

If its blue....It will more than do!

Ones on a Powerstar becuase its the ford version. All other 40series are Sle's! Nope we have had no problems with front axles. Only the gearboxes which sometimes are much kop!

We had the gearbox grind to a halt on our SL dual power, caused by 3 studs which held a bearing housing to the casting working loose and the balls rolled about damaging all but 4 gears. Over £5000 damage!! SLE has been no bother tho.

We run a 1998 New Holland 8560 for the main of the contracting and a 1995 7840 SLE special Turbo at home, with 9800hrs on. Best tractor we've ever had. The 8560 smashed its gearbag up last harvest wich wasn't cheap, but it is running at 174hp at the shaft. 8)
And we have a John Deere but i don't want to talk about it.

Nowt Wrong with the old girl really. its a L reg 7700 powershift. Bought it to pull a fergie 187 baler. just a bit numb and not as nice to drive as the 8560. 8)

Could have been the lad that works for me he fits the "numpty" description lol, you should try channel 40 during the afternoon, we normally get pensioners with massive burners blasting out geriatric dribble on how much a tin of beans is at Tescos, its really annoying these old timers are pumping out megawatts of blue-rinse chat every day!
