its to late mate, dunno what its like where you are, but here its just teenage smack heads on the rig, suppose being mobile would be ok, like 4x4 with mates, or on a motorway with other truckers, but as a home set up?, cb is well and truly over , maybe amateur has less or no muppets on, dunno, i dont even key up now, i just normaly listen for 30 mins before bed, laugh, shake my head, and pity the poor buggars,

ah but even they provide small pleasures and light humour ;) (can u tell i work for the nhs) bwhahahah.. on a more serious note i think home rigs are fo people like me who either live in their car traveling or are at home sleeping or resting so it has its place in a selected network of people bit like when your 4x4'ing. plus if your like me amature licences are out my reach plus i work with radios all day y should i have to sit an exam on them ?

Actually, down here there are no muppets. It's very quiet. No one used cb at all. It's very difficult. I'd like a new rig but what's the point? About once a month I hear some farmers/builders composing sentences consisting entirely of the F and C words and that's it.

What are we to do?
