It is very important that you use a good quality CB aerial, if you don't, even the very best CB radio will perform badly.

If you are buying a full CB radio set-up on a budget, my advice is to spend your money on the biggest and best aerial that you can fit on your vehicle and maybe choose a rig that is a little cheaper.
