hi all

back from hols & ready to go :D

the story so far ?! ......... (please see my other threads)

still have the harrier cbx which i think still works

bought a grandstand bluebird which i think does work

& after a little win on the donkeys ...... & a few celebratory shandy's i did purchase a president lincoln off that 'e' site  never go on that site after a few shandy's !

so, the plan is to get set up in my truck with the harrier or the bluebird & the lincoln as a home base

going to buy a new springer for the truck & see if that cures it

buy what you guys suggest for the lincoln at home .......i am about a meter above sea level :( near peterborough....it is flat land....on an estate.....i have a detached house with a loft

the lincoln will be upstairs ........... what antenna do you guys suggest to make the best use of the lincoln ?

i'll start threads in the correct section......truck cb with grandstand or harrier & new springer .........homebase antenna for the president lincoln

thanks in anticipation for all your help =D>

ive used a antron 99 for many years with my lincoln and had many of great contacts around the world.
but for a cheaper antenna that works well try a silver rod. but there no where as strong as the a99
mine is still going strong :D
