Hi,

Im a newbie myself....But I will offer one small bit of info.

I mounted a LCD screen'd Radio in my 300tdi (Off-roader) up high (Out of potential water), by the sun-visor, but because of the viewing angle, Its hard to see what channel Im on.

I put an LED screen'd Radio in my TD5 Disco (Near the gear-shift) as this is my "Road" car (Despite being fitted with a Snorkle) as the chance's of wadeing this in deep water is TINY....but I can still see the channel-display, despite being at an odd angle.

hi and welcome go for a maxon cm10 or a kpo k500 which is shorter in the body so easier to fit use a guttermont if possible with a omega 27 antenn which will tune to both bands ie uk and Europe if you want top performance the spend the money on a top range antenna which will cost you more than the set

hope this points the way slightly and gives you some thoughts
