The Name HAM

[Smithdoor]

My first story about HAM after Herizit Armstrong & Marcony.
Next was name after ones starting the first HAM club.

What found it dates back to when radio first started
The telegraphers call radio HAM.
The radio telegraphers prodly keep the name HAM operator.

Now the telegrapher’s said HAM???R not a good day for old time telegraphers. DO Not ever use this name around HAM Operator or it will bad day for you.
I say a lot Amateur radio. It groung that help promote Radio and impove the industry.

It is classified as a Hobby so FCC can take bands away and give bands till someone else needs the ban. Like in WW2 The HAM bands was stop for 1942 to 1945. The Military too the great long distance bands.

Try finding the Zeppelin Antenna

You can find more stories on HAM I think need to know how word HAM was used in 1900.

Remember both CB and HAM is a Amateur radio the different is from licenses from the FCC.
The CB band is also business and emergency band set about 1945-1948 by FCC. This only different till get to HAM clubs and IRS
