just looking into the prospect of perchasing a hand held c b any recomendations and what range do they have. interested in the one in the adveture pack from thunder pole, any advice would be very usefull.

the one that seems to have stood the test of time and comes with a load of goodies is the midland 42 very reliable and seems to work well range is anyone's guess depends whether you are up a hill or in the middle of town

just had delivered the intek 520 plus hand held kit. so a thankyou to richard (sales) for excellent service, will be having some fun setting the unit up in the landy this afternoon =P~ =P~ =P~

cracking unit, the only issue I have with mine, is some of the graphics have rubbed off the rubber keys....may be worth considering a case?

If you use this as a handheld you may want a flexi duck of about 24 inches long.

This will help proformance of it been used as walkie talkie.
