Iam thinking of hooking up my old binatone speed way cb radio ,in my scania on a cigarette socket with a mag mount on roof .as has to be temp set up as boss won’t let me hard wire it . Was going to run wire in through sunroof opening ,I no the bigger attenna is better but would I get decent reception we a cobra HGA 1000 antenna, as I want to go as small as possible no huge unsightly mag mount and aerial thanks .

Lorries can be a pain to set up because of all the metal behind.

Most drivers don't bother lol.

a lot of truckers these days seem to go for a top loaded antennas attached to a gutter mount at the rear of the cab with the coax cable running through the sun roof with something like the thunderpole super flexi

but what ever you pick i hope it works for you buddy 😉
