hi all
newbie here
just got into radio scanning
got myself a whistler trx1
and a aor dv1
listen to a fair bit of cb n fancy sum of that
i have just purchased an antron 99 with the thunderpole antron top section upgrade
purchased zetagi b550p amp
mydel mp 60 amp power supply
now the question is the cb radio i have been reccomended to get the superstar 6900
but its the power output seems too high for the input on the amp it says on amp input 1-10w am /1-20w ssb
the 6900 output is a lot more than that
any reccomendations on radios as good asthe 6900 or better with low output
any info be appreciated

Good afternoon Kev

You should have no problem with your rig as the manufacturers blub states that "they pump out a generous amount of power too, thanks to a couple of IRF520 MOSFET finals (which, BTW, are dirt cheap). The manufacturer claims the output to be 40 Watts on FM and SSB, and about 12 Watts carrier on AM/CW, all adjustable. " there you go you can adjust the output power to suite your needs.
