Hi,
i`m new to CB radio stuff. i started up just chatting with friends and a new contact local to me.
i`m not quite up and running yet, so i have more of a temp setup. i have a T2000 and a orbiter coil whip antenna. my friend got me into it for fishing / in car communication. he has a base station. i hope to some day
get him, he is 15 miles away, we have just been driving around in contact (which is fun)
next on my shopping list is temporary base antenna, SWRmeter, some coax, power supply, portable power supply. i probably need a different mount for my car, as my car is 1500% fibreglass.
i`ve been extensively annoying my friends with questions. there are alot of resources but its new i`m learning.
