T800 frequency bands

Hi Andy and the rest of you lovely breakers.

I see a video about changing the bands with the volume button etc, are they different channels to the standard am and fm?

There are 8 different bands for different European countries, some only allow FM and some are AM/FM.

Thanks Andy, that helps, so is there anything on those channels or are they to legally be avoided?

Most countries use the EU band (26.965mhz to 27.405mhz) which is also legal to use in the UK.

You may pick up signals from the other countries on those channels, and even talk back if the conditions are right :)

Technically you should only use the UK and EU band in the UK but whether people are strict enough to do that is another thing :D

Which is the best band to use and how does it show on my thunderpole T800 atb Jerry
