hi ppl,
2 questions and looking for sound advice please
1q) i live on a mountainside and get very high winds my plan was to (a)erect a small mast then when the winds are up i could easily dismantle!!however when i built the mast i wasnt getting a signal in or out and high swr so i put up a crank on a wall bracket on the side of the house signals great but the 1/2 wave silver rod would never stand the high winds up here i do know they can stand a helluva lot but seeing it last night i thought nah got to come down and something more appropriate for my weather conditions on a scottish mountainside any info would be greatfully appreciated

2q)looking for good antenna to go marine mobile as well for ss3900

many thanks for any info in advance
